Today was about turns. The day started off great. I get to work and start my day and then I realize that I left my wallet at home. So I rush home, get my wallet and get back to work just minutes before I have a meeting.
Next I am in the meeting then my boss interrupts and lets me know that he needs my help on several projects. So I wrap up my meeting, start doing all of these projects for him and then I am stopped by this little older woman. She asks me if I am Andy Katz. I said that I am. She wanted to personally thank me for the donation that I made in memory of her late husband. She gave me a big hug and went on her way.
The rest of my day it did not matter what came my way, as crazy as it was I had a positive thing happen right after it. So needless to say my work day ended pretty good.
I sit back and look at what happened to me today. In the past I would be hung up with the bad thing that I was in. I would let that run my life for the day or two. But today, it was different. I was able to get threw the challenge that was in front of me and I was able to see the positive thing around the corner.
I am proud that I did not let this get me down. I finished my day strong. I am looking forward to tomorrow to see what challenges are there for me. I know that whatever comes my way I am up for the challenge.
